Terms and conditions

 

Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before participating in the StyleKorean MY giveaway (the “Giveaway”) organized by StyleKorean MY (“we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in the Giveaway, you (“Participant”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Eligibility:
    The Giveaway is open to residents of Malaysia aged 18 years or older, except employees and immediate family members of StyleKorean MY and its affiliates. By entering the Giveaway, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria.
  2. Giveaway Period:
    The Giveaway will run from 17 July 2023 to 10 September 2023 (“Giveaway Period”).
  3. Prize Selection and Notification:
    During the Giveaway Period, StyleKorean MY will select FIVE (5) winners each week. Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during that week. Chosen winners will be notified via email. An official winner announcement, with contact information censored for privacy, will also be published on StyleKorean MY’s official Instagram and Facebook (@stylekorean_malaysia) story each week.
  4. Winner Response Time:
    Each chosen winner will have a 1-week (7-day) response time from the date of notification to claim their prize. If a winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, StyleKorean MY reserves the right to forfeit the prize(s).
  5. Grand Prize Announcement:
    The Grand Prize winner of the Giveaway, which includes a pair of round trip Korea flight tickets, will be announced on 12 September 2023.

5.1. Grand Prize Winner Response Time:
ONE (1) winner will be chosen from all participants who completed the #KnowYourTone Skin Analysis Test. The winner will be contacted via email. The chosen winner will have a 1-week (7-day) response time from the date of notification to claim their prize. If the winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, StyleKorean MY reserves the right to forfeit the prize(s).

  1. Liability and Indemnification

6.1. Contest Participation and Technical Issues:
We shall not be held accountable for any loss, liability, or damages resulting from participation in the Contest, including any technical problems such as server issues and/or poor internet connectivity that prevent individuals from entering the Contest. By participating in the Contest, you hereby waive, release, and discharge us, as well as our agencies, sponsors, and representatives, from any and all liabilities, costs, losses, damages, or expenses that you or any party acting on your behalf may incur, whether directly or indirectly, foreseeable or consequential, as a result of Contest participation.

6.2. Circumstances Beyond Our Control:
We shall not be held responsible for fulfilling our obligations outlined in these Terms and Conditions concerning the Contest if we are unable to do so due to circumstances beyond our control. In such instances, we will not be obligated to provide compensation to you in any form.

  1. Prizes and Redemption

7.1. Prize Restrictions and Terms:
All Prizes are strictly non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable, or redeemable by you in any other form or manner other than as specified in the terms and conditions. You are required to adhere to any specific or special terms and conditions associated with the Prize, whether provided by our partners, agents, or sponsors. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the forfeiture of the Prize.

7.2. Prize Forfeiture:
In the event that you choose not to accept a Prize or fail to redeem the Prize within the stipulated time, the Prize shall be forfeited or dealt with according to our absolute discretion.

7.3. Prize Redemption and Responsibilities:
StyleKorean MY will not be responsible for the failure of prize redemption, lost or damaged parcels, or errors in TNG reload pins.

  1. Amendment of Terms and Conditions:
    StyleKorean MY reserves the right to amend, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. It is the responsibility of participants to review the updated Terms and Conditions.
  2. Privacy and Personal Data:
    By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information by StyleKorean MY for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and contacting winners.
  3. Governing Law:
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

By participating in the Giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not participate in the Giveaway.
